Singapore Airlines Gold Benefits
The benefits of the Singapore Airlines Gold card are:
- Receive mile earning cards in the form of the Gold American Express Card (1 Kris Flyer point for every $1.00), Gold Visa Card (0.5 Kris Flyer points for every $1.00). After one year, cardholder receive a special thank you reward.
- When you buy your first product with this card you get 5,000 free Kris Flyer miles credited
- A comfortable variable interest rate on purchases and cash advances
- A 0.99% p.a. for 6 months balance transfer for a limited time
- A low $125 annual fee
- After one year, as a cardholder, you will be awarded a gift voucher to enjoy a discount on a future ticket purchase or upgrade.
- By paying off your end of the month closing balance, you will receive 45 days, interest free on your Singapore Airlines Gold card purchases.
Complimentary Benefits
As a valued Westpac Singapore Airlines Gold cardholder, you will enjoy complimentary international travel insurance for your international travel, up to 3 months. Cover for the travel insurance, includes policy defined hospital and medical expenses; theft and damage cover for your personal items for you and your family; and personal liability in the amount of up to $2.5 million.
Your rental vehicle, outside of Australia, is covered for up to $5,000. The Singapore Airlines Gold card entitles you for up to $250,000 cover for accidental death or injury on your travels abroad. You will receive an extended purchase warranty up to one year, on your complimentary purchase security insurance cover.
As a cardholder, you further receive up to $125,00 cover per person and up to $20,00 per family member for the loss or theft of your personal belongings, including your luggage, personal travelers cheques or credit cards that you will take with you.
Additional Benefits
As a Singapore Airlines Gold card member, you will have the benefits of two credit cards with one annual fee, plus one card statement and one credit limit for both. You are entitled to transfer the balance from a non Westpac card dealer to your Singapore Airlines Westpac Gold Cards account, upon your initial credit card application, for a limited time at a low interest amount. Further, there are no capping mile restrictions.
The Kris Flyer earned miles, are good for three years. But for a small fee, you can extend your miles for an additional six months, longer extension is available for Kris Flyer elite Silver or Gold club members.
