Jeststar MasterCard
Interest Rates - This card has some of the top interest rates currently available at only 13.99% p.a. on purchases. You will also get up to 55 interest free days, allowing you to finance your purchases for absolutely nothing.
Balance Transfer – A balance transfer is when you move the debt from one or several cards over to the new one to get a lower interest rate. They do not get much lower then this at 0% p.a. for 4 months. That is plenty of time to get those old balances cleared out without spending one dollar on interest fee.
Low Annual Fee – You might expect the Jetstar MasterCard to have a high annual fee. As a flight rewards card it would not be a surprise to see a fee in the triple digits. But, with this plastic you will only spend $59 each year to own the card which includes membership to the rewards scheme.
MasterCard Applause – This service gives you premium access to sporting and entertainment events. You also get special offers and pre-sale periods so you never have to miss out on the hottest tickets in town.
Jeststar Dollars – Each time you spend on this plastic you will earn Jetstar dollars. Those dollars can then be redeemed for flight vouchers. Standard cardholders will earn once cent for every dollar that they spend on purchases. Platinum members will earn 2 cents for every dollar spent on purchases. That might not sound like a lot but it adds up quickly. If you spend $1320 each month on groceries with the standard card you will earn $158 in Jetstar dollars per year. The Platinum variety earns $576 of those Jetstar dollars for spending $2400 per month on groceries alone.
Redeeming Dollars – One of the best benefits of this rewards scheme is the ease of using it. You do not have to track your own dollars or make phone calls when you are ready to redeem them. They have an automatic redemption system that sends your points to you in an email. Once you reach the 100 mark a voucher is automatically mailed to you. Then you have three months to use it for travel within six months. No hassle, no fussing just free money in your pocket.
Security - These days everyone is worried about fraud and identity theft. With Secure Sentinal on your side you will not have to worry about those threats. For only $59 per year for a single person or $79 for a family you can add this layer of protection. Secure Sentinal will manage all of your cards in the event your wallet is lost or stolen so all you have to do is contact them. They will also provide you with emergency cash, cancellation and replacement service for passports, blocking of mobile phones and a host of other services that can put your mind at ease should anything happen to your plastic.
The Jetstar MasterCard is accepted all over the world at more then 29 million locations. That means no matter where you travel you can always depend on the quality and security of your plastic.
