The ANZ Platinum credit card has been designed for people that want to experience the luxuries of life. Benefits include an exclusive Platinum-only concierge service, complimentary travel insurance and much much more. If you are ready to experience the finer things in life, this card is meant for you.
ANZ Platinum features
Here are just some of the amazing features you will find on the ANZ Platinum credit card.
- $6000 credit limit minimum.
- $0 annual fee for the first year ($87 thereafter) for annual account fees, which may be waived.
- 0% p.a. for 6 months (reverts to 19.24% p.a.) purchase rate.
- 20.99% p.a. cash advance rate.
- Access to eDine, the ANZ Wine Club and Secure Sentinel.
- Up to nine cardholders can be added to your account.
- Access to Visa Platinum privileges and Platinum Concierge.
- Emergency replacement for your card worldwide.
- Access to entertainment products for your home, exclusive packages of merchandise and special events with Visa entertainment.
- Extended warranties are given on top of the Australian warranty provided by the manufacturer if you have purchased a product using your ANZ Platinum card.
Annual fee
You will not have to pay your initial annual fee since it is automatically waived and you won’t have to pay the next one if you have purchased $20,000 minimum using your card during the year before the next fee is due. This is an incredible deal for a Platinum card and is exclusive to ANZ.
Purchase Insurance
Make your purchases knowing that you are covered for 90 days with security insurance. Most items of a personal nature will be covered against theft, loss and accidental damage. You will also receive an extended warranty with the ANZ Platinum card. You will be covered for an extra year once the original warranty from the Australian manufacturer expires. This means that your warranty will be doubled.
As well, cardholders don’t have to worry about getting the best price in Australia for purchased items. If you see the same item you have purchased in a printed catalog later at a better price, within 21 days of the original purchase, you can claim the difference. This is assuming, of course, that the purchase was made with the ANZ Platinum card.
Cover for car rentals
When you are the proud owner of an ANZ Platinum credit card you receive automatic cover every time you rent a car from one of the major car hire companies in Australia. If you have an unexpected accident your excess will be reduced to only $350. Without this coverage you would have to pay between 2000 and $4000 in many cases. ANZ rental cover may pay up to $2050 maximum to help cover the excess.
It is one less thing to think about if you don’t have to worry about planning insurance protection for a holiday or for any purchases you want to make. The ANZ Platinum card handles all of this for you so you don’t have to. Sometimes it is the little things that take the most time to handle when it comes to planning a trip, and having your insurance handled will help make the planning all the more simple and easier to confront.
Filling out the application
You will need to have your drivers license, (if you have one), your account number with ANZ, (if you are a current customer), your accountant’s contact number and name if you are self-employed, your employer’s address and details about your liabilities, assets and income available. Once you have assembled these details you can start filling out the form online.
It is a fast and easy process to fill out the application on the Internet and if you have any questions while you are filling out the form there is help available on the page. It shouldn’t take more than about 15 minutes to get it completed. You need to complete the form in one sitting, however, because the form will timeout if you leave it for more than 15 minutes. In that case, you would have to start the application over again.
The ANZ Platinum card is a must-have card for any Australian that wants the best of the best when it comes to credit cards. You’ll have access to exclusive features that are only available on a Platinum card.
