How to make a balance transfer
It is fast and easy to apply for a new ANZ balance transfer card. There is a balance transfer section right on the online application form, and it only takes a few minutes of your time to completely fill it out. If you are already an ANZ cardholder, you can log into your account on the Internet and request a balance transfer. Select your offer carefully since there are different rates of interest they can apply to these balance transfers.
It can be complicated making payments if you own more than one store or credit card. When you make a transfer over to a new ANZ balance transfer card you will be able to manage your payments easier because all your debt will be consolidated into one payment.
Terms and conditions
Your request for a balance transfer will be processed once your card has been activated the amount of interest will apply to the balance amount that has been transferred starting from date that the request is approved and then processed. Any payments that you make to your credit card will be directly applied to the balance transfer.
The fee for making a balance transfer is 1% of the transferred amount if it is transferred to an ANZ Balance Visa. Many balance transfers made two other ANZ credit card accounts will not have a balance transfer fee applied. Interest will accrue on the balance transfer starting from the date of approval until it has been fully paid off.
Beware of new purchases!
As with any balance transfer card, you should refrain from making new purchases on the card if you want to repay your existing debt as fast as possible. New purchases will be charged at the full interest and often create more debt for card owners. Best way to avoid this is to not use your ANZ balance transfer card for new purchases.
The ANZ balance transfer card simplifies your life and gives you the chance to handle your debt. It is a card of choice for many Australians, and for good reason.
